About Forward Democracy

A platform for civil society and a national movement to unlock Westminster, reimagining the way we do politics for the future.

We’re focused on the twin aims of defending and developing democracy in the UK.

Founded by the same team as the Swap my Vote website, we have helped thousands of voters make their votes count in the UK’s 2015, 2017, and 2019 general elections.

Other initiatives include Let’s Vote, Tactical Volunteer, and the Better Future Forum.

The leadership team has an extensive track record spanning decades working with some of the UK’s biggest institutions and campaigns, including Make Poverty History, Comic Relief, Live 8, 38 Degrees, Oxfam, Wellcome Trust, UK Government Digital Service, Westminster City Council, Open Rights Group, Good Law Project, BBC, and Channel 4.
